Question Warning - Ugly Sun Visor Labels

How can I get rid of the ugly sun visor warning labels.

Can I heat them and remove them?

Will it leave a mark?

i heard of some kind of stickers....but i am hearing from some people they aren't flush and perhaps more on the ghetto side.

I think someone needs to come up with some very professional and tasteful looking to cover up that area!

I'm pretty sure it'll leave a mark if you heat it off. It's not that bad, why heat it off?

Not that bad?

Each of my (2004) sun visors has a massive 3 x 9 inch white vinyl label on it. They are in English and Spanish and have annoying text and pictures on them! Airbag and Seatbelt blah blah blah.

I'm 6'2" so maybe I notice them more.

I think what Nissan is doing is helping us learn spanish, since that will be the new language in 2 more years

Just swap them side to side. They don't sit as flush due to the curve in them but I think it's better than the labels.

2004 Touring model

Mine have mirrors on the inside and also plastic extenders that slide out from inside the visor to make them longer....I think these sliders are to cover more of the side window (if you use them that way). Because of that, swapping them side to side won't work.

Unless someone tells me they successfully removed these labels, I think reupholstering them is my only option.

Why wouldn't they allow you to do the swap? They'll still be in the same place (the middle of the car), just on the opposite side of the visor.

Would the swap cause the vanity mirrors built into the backside of the visors (facing the headliner while the visor is closed) to now face the floor?

That's my understanding of how the swap works. Each end of the visor is held on differently, so in order to fasten them in place correctly, they'd not only switch sides, but they'd flip over too.

I dont really notice the visors because I sit so low in the car. If you have a Touring, I'd take the opportunity to wrap them in leather or suede (might as well do the headliner, too, which is a crappy material from the factory). That would look slick.
