350Z vs S2000
What year are you talking about? We have 2 older mitsubishi eclipse in my city. One is doing 530, the other is doing 750. I don't think of them as chick cars at all when one pulls up besides me. Those things can be beasts.
If you are talking about the 2006 mitsubishi eclipse then that is another story. I don't like the look of the new eclipses.

Yea people pick s duce cause ...you can slam at 9k...but what some sduce owners dont know this peice can respond to mods...if its life depended on it...you'd have to go boost....and thats just a butt load of money....all motor on a Z for me please....(coming from a huge honda man)i convered to z TORQUE...BABY..soming hondas dont have...but im a honda junkie at heart.....so to rap it up...the ap1 and ap2 are car with almost fully built motors!

I've thought of getting a S2000. I know how well it performs, I just don't like the looks. It would be sick for a second sport coupe, but the Z will always be my frist love.
Cornering - S2K wins
Straights - Z wins
Looks - Z wins, but this is subjective.
Fun Factor - Z wins . . . IMO. I can't get enough of the torque, the sound, and just the power at my fingertips. And once you do redline the Z . . . . hehehe.
PS - the only girls I've seen driving S2K's around are veeeeerrrrryyyyy good-looking ones.

I also like the fact that you cant buy the S2000 in automatic. Thats a great non-option.
It really comes down to personal taste as you can see mine is the exact opposite from yours.

I like the S2k but if you drive thru rush hour traffic you'd hate that car. Me personally if I was lookin at both the Z and the s@k as a track car I might have gotten the S2k. One thing I love about the S2k is it engine cuz that thing is built to rev! especially the earlier 2.0 liter engines. It revved almost up to 9k stock, but in the same light the torque you get in the Z feeeeeels GOOOOOOOOD! something the S2k I drove didnt quite feel like at least until you got anywhere near the upper digits on the tach. Also that and I used to live in a place where you'd have to keep an eye if someone was gonna slash the soft top and jack your stereo etc.. my 2 cents

true that, most the ones ive met CAN drive
i had an s2000 before the z and LOVED it, i understand the interior size thing, IT SUCKED. the S is more fun to drive (especially a boosted ap1) but the Z is a nicer DD. oh yea and the S will rape the Z in the corners, its not even in the same world as the Z in the twisties

I have test driven both and me being slightly larger than most, ok I won't lie I am fat! The 350z fit me much better. I was definately more comfortable in it than the s2k. Now I just have to take the actual step in purchasing myself one!

S2000 for me was out simply because it's a 4 cylinder car. Drive an S2000, but don't rev past 5000rpm. It's a 120hp car unless you wind it out and make all kinds of noise you don't want to. No thanks. I do like how they look though. If they were available turbo 4 cyl I would maybe think about it, or with a 6 cyl maybe. But a N/A 4 cyl, its simply not even a choice for me.
