i swear to god i posted this before....
but alas, i don't see my post...
anywho, this is what i use. the irock plugs into your ipod and you can tune it to one of 4 different fm stations.
handy for those of us with cd players.
best reception for me is when i have hte ipod in the cup holder (as shown)
anywho, here's the website. i have the 300 but it looks like htey've got a newer version out.

i wish i could find a FM transmitter booster. the iTrip sucks in my car as well. i almost though about using the belkin, running a 1/8th miniplug extender to mount the transmitte as close to the antenna as possible. thats the only thing i can think off.

i also though of using an fm modulator and putting a 1/8th miniplug adapter by the cigerette lighter this will still not be the best sound quality until the alpine comes out.

When I run a cassette adapter setup I get really bad sound quality on some songs, especially ones with heavy Bass, is there a setting I need to change or is it just the quality of those songs that is at fault?
They're 192k so I don't see that being a problem...

I've used the belkin Fm trans and the cassette adapter. The $15.00 cassette adapter works the best. Belkin also works ok, I'd say it doesn't have the frequency response that I get from a cassette.
The wires bug me, but I will live with it until I replace my damn Bo$e p!ece of **** with one of these awesomest overpriced head units in the universe:
