I want to dynamat my car, but if my goal is to have a quieter ride, where should I put the stuff? Someone said the engine firewall, but how the **** do i get to that area?

only noise is the engine- a fine growl at 2000rpm
or if i forget to put the seat belt into the clip....

hi
dynamat (prepare to pay some $$$- it is not cheap stuff)
inside the doors- you will have to pull the inside skins off, put the mat on the inside of the skins, then get new clips to reattach the door skin, under the carpeting (this will take care of the firewall), and .... if you are really into it, pull the headliner and put the stuff on the inside of the headliner. THIS IS A LOT OF WORK!!!!!!!!!
I have quieted several cars. What i learned was patience, allow a lot of time, and never pull a panel too hard...

Mine is with Eibach spring (track), no rattles or squeeks except for the passenger seatbelt . If I roll down the window half way, everything is perfect.
