Default EXCELLENT gas mileage!!!!!

Here's something you don't see every day:

I reset my mileage computer at the top of the four-mile grade going down from Black Mountain, NC to Old Fort. Near the bottom it was reading 94.2 MPG. By the time I could get stopped and get the camera out, it was what you see here.

The gauge measures fuel usage and mileage. I was on a steep downhill grade averaging 67 MPH for 4 miles but only using enough gas to idle the engine. Gravity was doing the rest. The gauge is accurate.

I love that stretch of I-40. What gear did you have it in going down the mountain?

(PS. My favorite part of I-40 is between Newport TN & Clyde.)

Talking

It worries me that someone else who lives right near me was driving near Black Mountian this weekend as well with the exact same car as me....

I assume you were coming back from ZdayZ?

There were a lot of Silverstones and a lot of Tracks at ZDayZ. It worries me that you were evidently not one of them! Get your priorities straight, for goodness's sake!

I would loved to have been there, but it would have been tough to tell my friend I couldn't be in his wedding because I was going to meet with some other Z owners....I'm sure his wife (and mine) would have LOVED that....
