Default '03 350Z touring w/ 10K miles for $29K...how does that sound?

Dealer across the street from me has an '03 350z Touring model...Silver with black leather interior, heated seats and all that jazz. No navigation, or aero kit, or wing. It has the smaller 17" rims. Looked in good shape, no paint chips or scratches, leather looked good, tires have alot of meat left. It has about 10K miles on it.

The salesman comes out and says the price is $32 for it. When I laugh in his face at that price he says, "Well we'll work with you to around $29K if you are interested.

What do you guys think? How much would you offer on this car

They also have a black on black '04 Touring model...I think it has the same options as the '03 on it. Sticker is $33 and change for it. What do you think I can get them down to on this one?

Thanks for confirming what I originally thought.

I'm pretty sure the asking price is not $32K...they just said that so their "bargin" price of $29K sounds like a great deal.

What do you guys think I should offer on it? $25 or $26K?

Keep shopping.

I'm suprised no one mentioned that the Touring comes with the 18" and not 17" rims. Almost sounds like the dealer swapped them out on you.

I wouldn't be suprised. My local dealer was selling an '03 "Enthusiast" with 10k miles for 'only' $39,999. It had the Nismo spoiler and aftermarket wheels but lacked cruise, homelink, and TCS. So I knew it was a base. What a joke!

You could buy a brand new Enthusiast, get Katzkin leather, and slap in an aftermarket stereo for just under $30k. Then no worries on all the 2003 problems.

FYI...The Touring with the 5AT comes with the 17" wheels.

kelly blue book basically doesnt have the 2003 model depreciating very much. although, i would pay $28,000 at the very most.

i am assuming the car you are looking at is the auto, because you mentioned the 17" rims. if you want an auto, like overlord tom said, you should get a new enthusiast and put in katzkins and an aftermarket stereo. you wont have power seats, but they arent really that important anyways.

In today's Cleveland Plain Dealer..Bedford Nissan 1 440-439-5785 ask for Peggy O'Neil they have a brand new '03 Track Model for $29,995 $5,069.00 off the MSRP. The list was $35,064.00

If your interested in buying a '04 of which I did a week ago. Contact Trent Earlie by email trente@users.ccleads.com or tlearlie@hippodromecars,com or call 1-615-248-5100. $99.00 over INVOICE. I flew down to Nashville TN. in the morning and drove home in the afternoon. It was so easy to do and Trent is a great guy to deal with! Good Luck!

Haha...I looked at and drove that car! They really want someone to buy that but there is only one problem...its red. It is a great deal and I really thought about buying it. I think most people dont want red and they are having a really hard time sellling it. The pressure is mounting since it is an 03 and the 05's are getting ready to come out....

Don't stick to local dealership. You are not in 60s anymore. Do global search on nissans websites, call big cities dealerships and you'll be amazed what prices you'll find. $29 for 10k miles touring is not good. I'm very sure you can find new one in Chicago for that money.
