Wrong Magazine! Keep guessing. If you want the low down email and ask specific questions or I will give you my number. I will not post anything in which I promised not to publicly address.

Anybody have any idea what the "mail slot" behind the seats is for? It's quite an odd shape for a storage space, and it looks like it would get covered up by the passenger seat. Well, at least some right side of it.

It's too small to be a "reach back" space, and you could always go over the strut bar.

See the last pic posted on this thread to see the slot.

My bet...Car and Driver, they love the nostalgic pieces.

There is a shot of a white sticker ont the door seal. This had the weight and such on it. I took the pic so I would not have to write it down. It was very high. . . 3800lbs I think. That is with two people and fuel I think. I do have a number which JmanZ has posted before for the weight.

Default Color

Hey Vandy, is the color off on your exterior shots too? The picture of the Sunset that Nissan released was way too bright orange for my taste, but in your shots it is more more of a burnt orange color. Actually it is stunningly beautiful. Is that what it actually looks like, or is it closer to the Nissan pics?

pics 26 and 27 are the best color shots. I must have been calm then! The first few shots were taked under an awning. The others are direct sunlight.

About golf clubs:

I have a normal size bag, but I did not try them. The photographer already had his stuff in the back when I thought about it. I do think a soft bag may work, the problem will be your drivers. I golfed on Friday and being aware of what I was doing I realized the clubs are almost too big for my mustang gt convertible. I think it can be done but I will need a new bag.

About the HP poll Let me think for a while there are so many factors which go into these things :-).

The cloth seats have great motion. The wheel raises and lowers as to the gauges. You will be fine. The window line is very tall however. When I put my arm on it, there was quite a bit of elevation, thus the low arm rests on the door. This was the case with the older Z's as well.

Making a hard right could possibly be hazardous to the radio maybe even to the navi. Better not get a Big Gulp.

VandyZ, that wav file in the Silverstone thread sounds like a Ferrari. How close is that sound to what you actually experienced in the car?

it sounded realistic. Very raspy. Not as deep as a Porsche.

It had the mild mannered Bridgestones. Not as sporty as I would have liked, especially for the track model. They did just fine though (as far as I can tell).
