Default Excessive slip?

I have a 04 enthusiast with an AT. Have the stock 17" wheels on it. I've been noticing that the slip light has been coming on a great deal more than normal. This has only been happening when making 90 degree turns. Am I just making these turns too sharply or should I get this problem checked out?

I have the exact same car and in the two months I have had it the slip light has only come on two time. The first was when I negotiated a right hand sweeper with a whole lot of power, and the other was when I was pulling out of an inclined gravel driveway. Unless you drive wide open all the time, it probably shouldn't be slipping that much.

Have the same setup and my light constanly comes on at each turn. It's only your driving style I'll bet. Try turning you TCS off if the car starts fish tailing all over the road then you know it's just you.

I turn off the TCS everytime I get in the car. Youre taking the corner hard, but then again this car was meant to corner hard. Like bruhman rufus said, try with TCS off and grin from ear to ear. Cornering well is the most addictive nature of this car. I typically will slow down if there is a car in front of me and take the corner hard just for the smell of it hahahaah

oh I have 6MT by the way....

I have the same car. I noticed that lately the same thing has been happening. The TCS didn't come on much in the beginning, but it is happening more now when I make turns. Perhaps the tires are wet, in sand or gravel, or we are just more confident driving the car harder now. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I used to have a 03 5AT and the light did come on frequently.
I didnt like the 5at, so I traded it in for a 04 track 6MT.
You may want to consider doing the same.
