,NOS eh? Woohooo. I gotta see this at the track. I'll be there tonight watching my friend's 400HP S4 running. You're going tonight?
As for Monday, I have to be at the office
. So have fun guys.
Frank, I was talking with Antonio that I was having problems with the Nos...Work on it more next week. Can't go Dry, because no Vacuum on fuel reg. Than I went to a Fogger system, but I can't find a soft line from the fuel filter or anywhere. We'll figure it out next week.
I saw your car, but i didn't know where you were at. I run twice....first run I got a bad 14.6.. I ran again 5 mins before midnight and I got a 14.360 at 35 psi up front and 27 psi back. tonight i was working on the christmas tree for today pro gas race. Here is my second run time slip
reaction -- .449 (jump the gun abit)
60 ft. ------ 2.187
1/8 et ----- 9.256
1/8 mph -- 77.44
1/4 et ----- 14.36
1/4 mph --- 96.78
I ran against the 78 or 79 (i think) monte carlo
he ran as such:
reaction -- .431
60 ft. ------ 2.195
1/8 et ----- 9.008
1/8 mph -- 80.47
1/4 et ----- 13.917
1/4 mph --- 100.21
he beat me by a 3/4 car length.
the temp. 77
anyways...i'm going to lower my back tire pressure to 24psi tomorrow and figure a better launch or something.

I was supposed to take my Z to the track this weekend, but unfortunately it has been raining all day. If you would like to know how a 350Z stacks up against an LS1, I ran my brother's '02 WS-6 (stock except for a lid). I had 1000 miles on at the time, and to my surprise, we were pretty close. In 1st, 2nd and 3rd (up to 90 mph), he pulled less than a car on me. I think we will definitely see 350Z's in the mid/high 13's trapping near 103-105 after they are well broken-in and people get the hang of driving them to the limit. To me, it seems like the biggest problem people are going to have is launching. I haven't launched mine yet, but even at the top end of first with the VDC off, my Z will break loose and send the back end out a bit. I'm hoping by the time my RE040's are worn out Nitto will have some NT-555R's that will fit. I'm sure they would make a big difference.

That is nice, what did ur brother run in the 1/4mile and is his car M6 or A4? Nittos would help alot too as u said especially to get lower 60ft's time which leeds to better 1/4mile times.
Also, you have to take into consideration people that our tracks first 60 ft is pretty badly tore up. Absolutely no traction whatsoever. Saul is doing very good with a 14.3 due to the track conditions not allowing a decent launch. On a decent track the Z should easily be pulling high 13's without a doubt. I guarantee Saul will be pulling 13's within a couple weeks once he establishes the best tire psi's and revises his launch. Saul, instaead of dropping the clutch at 2 grand like I think you said you were doing, try feathering the clutch from 2500. I noticed while driving my Z that once you get rolling at 5mph you can floor it and the Z will maintain traction. That could very well make up for 4/10 of a second from the wheel spin.

Saul: Yeah I saw you did the 14.6 run. I was shocked!...hehehehe. Anyway, how did you do this past Saturday?
Antonio: Hey man, I never saw a PPW Z yet. Wish I saw you. I would have turned around just to check it out!
Guys, I am going to the track this Friday at around 7 PM again. This time, I will be running, as the car is finally broken in! Hope to see you both there
