Default is this necessary for rotor

Hey i put my axis milano 19.8.5s on the front today and i noticed that there is a brass nut or sumthin connected to the brake rotor.. well to make the wheel go on.. i concurred with a few pple with 350z and call the dealer.. and all gave me the ok to take it off.. cause i needed to.. anyone else do this.. and what was that thing for ne way.. it was kinda rusting lookd cheaply made

Ide let the DEALER remove it that way if anything breaks you can sue there asses =)

I think you are talking about the nut that is on the front to make sure that the rear wheels can't be mounted on the front. It is perfectly fine to just take it off.

Exactly what he said, you don't need to have it on, also, when you want to take off your stock front rotors, then you use that bolt to "press" the rotor off.
