Feeling unstable at high speeds
Ever since I switched my rear tires from stock to Khumo Ecsta ASX 255 45 17 (left the front tires stock) I have noticed that the car feels really shaky above 90mph.
Is there something i can tweek to make this go away. At above 115 I start to feel as if I am going to lose control of the Z. This shouldn't happen and never was an issue before.
Has anyone experienced this

high speed balancer
Go to a good shop and get them balanced for high speed. I think the machine is called Hunter or something like that. Any good alignment shop should have it. In fact, your dealer might have it.

had the same problem when I switched the back to SO3s. Seems as though the promblem went away w/ time. I asked the same ?s here and was told that it was probably either becase the new tires grip much better than the piece of crap stock tires, which in turn makes the chassis much more responsive., and also the new trad is higher.

I had them balanced and I went to a tune shop who aligned them and changed the rear setting to nuetral or "0" is what they said.
But still the car feels shaky. Will tweeking the air pressure help?

run 35psi in the rear. See if that helps. Dont know what else could be wrong besides a bad balancing job. Been 159mph twice and car was as stable as can

Same here when I put winter tires in the rear only. Car was all over the place, felt like it was floating. Then I had the 4 wheel alignment done for tire feathering and it's fine now, although I'm sure it's even more stable with the stocks in the rear vs. the blizzaks. Make sure all 4 are same speed rating.

Do you guys know if the Khumo Ecsta ASX have the same speed rating as out stock tires?
I know they have a much higher thread at 400 and a AA stick rating.
