Default Noticable difference in the z when front strut bar is removed?

I installed my crawford plenum and in turn removed the stock front strut bar. I cant really notice a difference but then again, maybe I am used to it by now.

Any 2 cents?

I was one of the first to run constantly without it...

To the day I run plenum prototype #02, and NEVER have I put the strutbar back on.

Let me tell you all they want, but I have run two track events... one on street tires and another on V700s and NEITHER time could I tell a bar was missing.

Look for a test here soon about the Crawford bar vs. OEM if you feel the security of the bar... but don't you find it odd the G35 doesn't have one? Then all it took were tires to push it through the salom faster???

I read a long article one time about how strut bars are more marketing than engineering but if that was totaly the case I would think I would have more trunk room.

don't feel the difference at all, I removed it after I installed Crawford V5, it's actually faster since it lost some weight

I agree. Couldn't tell a difference either. But the Crawford bar looks so nice in the engine compartment; especially after a good polish job .

actually, maybe this is just me, but after i finished my vortech install, i put my strut bar back on, but i forgot to tighten it. as i was driving, i took a hard turn and i heard the front end creak. then i went home and realized that i didnt tighten it. Since i tightened it, i have never heard the creak since...
