Last day preorder. My Z is here!
Woo hoo!
I'll try to keep my enthusiasm down cause I know a lot of people here are still waiting but I just wanted to share my excitement with this group who has helped make this wait bearable. The Z meet by Tako also helped but made me also more excited for this day.
I ordered on the last day of the preorders 06/17/02. My car is being prepped and will be ready for pick-up on 10/23! (tomorrow). It came 2 days ahead of schedule.
If anybody cares, my order number was "W". I ordered a Le Mans Sunset Enthusiast with only floor mats and side curtain air bags as my options. I am planning to add an aftermarket stereo within a few weeks.
To those still waiting, I feel for you but hang in there! To others that have their cars already, I'll see you on the road!

I had thought somebody was getting their Brickyard in Belmont before me. Ah well...
I bought mine at Stanford Nissan. Don't really know about their service department but I chose this dealership because my father knew the owner. He is really a nice guy.
My co-workers at Apple are fighting over who gets to drive me over to pick up my car tomorrow. Too funny!

uh...
I saw a LS at the same dealer in Santa Clara at least five weeks ago but it was locked in a garage . The snake tongued GM first told me that it was pre-sold (pre-ordered) then seconds later asked me if I wanted it for a stupid $10K above msrp.
SOoo adios and didn't bother to look inside for what version it was.
I hope you didn't buy the same car for $$$ more from that dealer.
