Default Bored with the rain, so I installed my strut brace and emblems..

I was a little bore her in Los Angeles Cali because of the rain, so I stalled my New JIC strut brace and Z emblems.
Here is the new JIC strut brace. Much more rigid and is about the same weight. Very easy to install. Just make sure your on a level surface.
Here is a straight on shot of the strut brace

This is a close up of the mounting bracket

Here is a shot of the new rear emblem. Sorry about the light, but it's been raining...

Here is a shot of the front emblem

I will have performance nissan install my Stillen sways in a day or two.

Z emblems.
Mine will arrive soon. How did you get the old ones off? I was planning on heating them up with a hair dryer and prying them off. Do the new emblems have pins on the back too?

To remove the emblems it was a little bit more trouble than I thought. I used a hair dryer to heat up the old adhesive and used a dental tool with a thin hook to lift the edges of the old emblem up. Then I used my fingers to slowly pry up the emblems until the adhesive started to peel up. The part you have to be careful is rolling off the old adhesive. You really have to roll it off.
Do not try to pick it off or you will have a big adhesive mess you will need to clean off with alcohol. The front emblem is a little more difficult because of the recess, but not bad. The front emblem has several guide pins built into the bumper, but you still need to center it right. The rear emblem is a little bit harder. You can use masking tape as a guide to where the old emblem was centered. On my 04 Z trunklid there were two holes where the old emblem guide pins go. The new emblem does not have any guide pins. Make sure to cover those holes with the new emblem. Use the masking tape as a guide to set the new emblem. The new JIC strut brace was easy to install, but you do need to remove a few strap connectors for wires that are connected to the original strut brace mounting brackets. One of the connectors you do not need to worry about. The large one going to the battery I used a wire harness divider like the ones that separate you spark plug wires to hold it in place. I will be taking my Z into the mountains today since it has stopped raining!!! I finally can drive some high speeds again I just have to watch out for rocks on the mountain roads...

umm...the struts are supposed to make the car handle and turn better. Am i correct? With that said-pulling onto an offramp at high speeds would keep the passenger inside feeling a little safer. Less body roll. U can take turns at higher speeds..
