Anyone have good comparison? The WS6 is faster in a straight line, but which kicks sideways easiest....which will go faster in the twisties? Curious to hear what Z owners think....

While I loved the Firehawk and the beastly power it possessed (345HP stock, 395 modded), I prefer the Z. I'm 32 now and I don't need to have the fastest car on the block anymore. The Z gives you great straight line performance while also giving great handling. The Z feels like it was built better as well. I've found it a lot more reliable as well. The Z is a better looking car that appears more classy than the F-body. Believe me, girls give the car a lot more looks. The biggest thing I miss about the Firehawk was scaring the $hit out of people when I hit the gas. The exhaust was insane sounding. It worked best under a tunnel in the summer when everyone's windows were open. Hahaha.

350z or...
[I would not buy a Z at this time... I love the Z and think it is the best bang for the bucks, but until this tire issue is resolved I would avoid. And to think I had mine picked out already... My heart is still broke....

If you have to go the muscle car route, buy a 2005 Mustang GT. Although still has the solid rear axle, it's getting pretty decent reviews for old technology. It's a bang for the buck kind of car.
The Saleens look pretty sweet, but i still love the Z cars and recommend it highly. Just trying to talk you out of that WS6, don't do it.

I too thought about the new Stangs. They look sweet, and they're a touch faster than the Z's, and being new, I can have a warranty, and V8 growl. What's this tire issue you speak of? Is there something I can do to avoid this?
