Default So....the 370z? or the Genesis Coupe?

Well, I personally like the Genesis better...i believe the genesis will be priced a lot cheaper than the 370z as well....

I4 turbo which is the base model and a 300+ hp v6 model.

No pictures of the 370z cuz im sure you guys know what it looks like =P

I was just looking into them recently and Hyundai did a great job on the design. I'm expecting the turbo version to start under $20k and the V6 one to be around $26-$27k so it is a good amount cheaper than the 370Z. However, performance-wise the 370Z will easily beat the V6 GenCoupe all around being more powerful and lighter.

The Koreans haven been lining up and buying the coupes like there are free! The aftermarket parts also seems to rise rapidly as some of the coupes are already heavily modified.

I looked at the new Coupe at the Seattle Auto Show yesterday. It is really nice and worthy but for me I would pick the sports car (Z).
If you need a back set then it would be a good choice.

The Genesis and its power is marred by a chunky curb weight of 3500lbs (or was it 3600?). Whichever. It's a great effort, but there are weird design flaws that I simply can't stand looking at, like that droopy rear-window line. Ugh.

I like the Genesis styling...kind of an SC front end, a G overall shape and a flattened IS tail. But I'd still go with the Nissan.

It looks pretty damn good for a Hyundia. I'd still go with the Z though.

to me the Genesis is like a Rota wheel. Rota copies Volk....the Genesis is just a mix of a G and the rear lights/exhaust of a Lexus, not unique/own look/personality

370Z for me

Damn it looks good for a hyundai and the price and power is spot on but it is a little heavy and I prefer the Z myself. Is the coupe a rear drive? If its not then its not a "real" sports car.

It looks good and for anyone who went to SEMA would have been blown away buy the Hyundai exhibit. They are officially in play and have come a really long way. But for me, I remember the early years and just cant bring myself to buy one. 370Z all the way!

not the price point. the 3.8L Lambda V6 - 312 horsepower motor will be in the model that is suggested to start around 26k....still a really great price for that motor. btw, someone is keeping a wiki page updated here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Genesis_Coupe

It is going to be great bang for the buck.

Its a SERIOUS, fantatsic effort by Hyundai getting into that Market. Fortunetaly. I stall have the financial prowess (thank you a million times Lord)to purchase the MUCH more capable 370Z should I choose.

I must say that the perception of Hyundai now a days is better quality than its earlier days. With that said, the back reminds me of an altima coupe.

Actually the I4 is 3303 lbs and the V6 is 3402 lbs. Now how do those numbers compare to the 370Z?
