So I finally drove a 370z
Probably not considering Nissan is cutting production on them. There won't be nearly as many 370z's sold as there were 350z's which means that they will hold their value better. At this point it's still hard to say for sure but it's a good chance that the 370z will not loose value like the 350z did.
how hard does that affect the price of the used ones tho?

ya we have a scale. and yes its about 193 something # i think without taking out the spare and most tools.
detail are for the master techs at the shop. its why they pay me the big bucks bro sorry

but when taking off that kind of weight its heighly recomended to have a few choice suspension mods and a corner balance done too

I raced a 3 year old in a ferrari f430 scuderia, and I launched on him so fast that he couldn't catch up. withing 2 seconds I was buslengths ahead. Don't ask how I won but I did. I guess a video is in order.

one more thing... you guys r ruining the whole community that my350z.com is trying to put on here. we are all on this forum becase of one thing... the cars we drive. i would hope that when i get on the forum i would find friendly people with the same intrests.

It's somewhat possible. Not that I street race but I've seen a bolt-on '05 350z keep up with a stock '03 cobra on the highway cause the cobra owner didn't know what gear to start from.
No matter what you Feel or think No stock 350Z does 4.6 0-60 99gs in the solam and better overall handling Stock everyway you slice the 370Z is a better sports car then the 350Z. Dusting V8 Stang and Cayman heads up taking a Caymans S to compare or go 1 up. 370Z > 350Z except for the fuel gauge.

Let's keep this discussion in your post where you are asking about tires. I posted a response with links to pictures and pricing.
i seem to be prone to getting flats alot so i try to not take out the spare. i dont have a picture but i'll figure something out. and it seems like u have taking off quite a bit already. what model z did you start with...better yet what the stock weight of your car.

now hold on a minute. were not talking about stock z's anywhere. and my sig only states thing that i could fit on there.(witch reminds me that i need to become a premium member soon. lol) im putting down a little more the just an exhaust out there(remembering i work at a race shop) and plus were not auto... im a 6 speed

Regardless........there is something majorly wrong with the other cars if you are beating them. You even admit that you only won because of traction problems or some unknown other problem with the mustang.
Given a clean race and equal drivers both of thos cars would walk you in a 1/4 mile or highway roll. get serious.
the original post was about stock Z's and not all this street racing BS.

.Where has a stock Nismo 350Z ever run a 4.7 0-60? Post the link please. The best time I've ever read for a Nismo 350Z was done by Motortrend who got a 4.9 0-60. They got a 4.7 for the 370Z not the 350Z.
