That's weird, I thought some of the fastest 350Z times were base models

quite a few actually, lots of naysayers around here, which surprises me to be honest, as a Z enthusiast, I see the potential in all Z cars, but there is way too much bias on this forum.

Haha, john force, love that guy. But honestly, as sensitive as our clutches are and how hard it is to grip, these things are extremely difficult to launch, i've yet to find a sweet spot. I'm hoping combined with the DR's and LSD, i'll be able to launch at a higher RPM and actually get decent grip through the first 3 gears, right now, I litterally will spin through 2nd and chirp 3rd, kills the time alot.

Only issue will be that the NT555R drag radials are absolute garbage........should have gone MT DR's or M&H.

this is a 370. Combined with the light weight and strong tq down low, these things will literally spin in the pit and turn completely sideways in a peg legged frenzy.

I have a buddy that races his 5.0 with them and cuts 1.5 60fts with ease, plus I got a great deal on them.

You drive a 370Z!!!

Man that's crazy... the two fastest stock times for 350Zs are base models. Apparently they lack torque and excuses.

Whole different ball game....5.0's have ideal weight transfer to the rear, softer rear suspension, live axle, and a few other advantages......

I just picked up 16 inch M/T Radials from AceMan... They look like they will do just the job needed for me... So I will report back in due time.

My buddies evo 9 mr with intake , downpipe and greddy exhaust was tuned there and got 331 with 340 tq i think ? But i looked at evo forums and that seems spot on for what it should have. I myself am sceptical of these numbers but when we looked at what other cars made on that dyno at both shops it was clear my car made real good power for what it is.

at both shops my motor made more power than other ones.

Example. My neighbor/friend has a 2009 7AT. He got all the upgrades at once from smithtown, Injen CAI, Berk Test Pipes, And Greddy Exhaust with the uprev tune and he made 318 whp ....
Sorry I can't help you out on that.

Advertising? Umm ok... I figured if you were going to post up a dyno to prove the OPs point you might not want to go to quite possibly two of the highest reading dynos on the island.

Adam's car has never been tuned or dynoed anywhere on the island.

Stop hating on the 370z. HR's are getting good numbers W/mods. Why can't the VHR? I own a 350 so I'm not bias. Nissan MADE the 370z to be BETTER than the 350z. Why is it so hard to believe that the 370z has more potential. We should be happy that the 370z is capable of great numbers. If anything 300zx TT is the best Z ever.

EDIT-FORGED INTERNALS ARE GREAT!!!

300+whp is definitely doable on a 370z rather easily, I think I could get there once my Fast Intentions LTH's go on even though everything else is stock.

Yes. Light weight. 3230 for the base, as much as the DE. Believe me, 3230 is a feather compared to other cars of its genre. I also remove the passenger seat/spare/jack when I drag, total weight lost.. 83 lbs.

Okay but you replied to someone talking about a 350. The weight difference certainly isn't enough between the two to make a huge difference.
