The Forum Wars: Season 2
Great to know... Like bardabe beating krider till his 4th attempt winning run.. Sucks how the editing makes people look. Honestly the z looked super slow in season 2.

Your right the forum had it comming to them...... They deserve it for the **** they gave to the season one crowd... Even better since it was a moderator rofl... I'm done trolling this place better spend time on the good forums not owned by internet brands automotive where they bread the keyboard warriors..

Way to be mature, that my3shittyz is so clever! Honestly I (and im sure everyone else on here) could care less if he won or lost, at least he represented the forum in good fashion, even the Mustang guys think so. He did not complain "my clutch was stuck" and "can I go again, I was just messing around". Everyone knew that he was not experienced in this kind of thing. He did his best, got beat and did not come up with excuses, that in itself made him a better competitor.

as far as your question if I drive a 16 second car, I actually drive a upper 12s car, which would more then likely get in the upper 13s with me driving. the difference between you and I is I can admit it, where as you'll come up with excuses and talk about how you were one of the best present
So they have done West Coast and Midwest/South so far.....I just want them to come to the east coast please. Its too much towing time to get to those events. The season 1 stang was a well prepped F-stock shelby. It would have been faster than the 5.0 (by a large margin) in all the tests except 1/4mi. In my region F-stock is hotly contested (Sam Strano, Jason Burns (now in Super Stock with a vette), Lee Piccione, etc). There is probably 10 Solo National Championships and 10 Pro Solo Championship jackets between them.....my car had the F-stock field covered by 2-3s this weekend. I volunteer for next year!!! I promise my car isn't under prepped. It will, however, be the ugliest 350z to date

No, they're from California.
This.
Keyboard warriors, lul. Uhm, aren't you and bardabe the only two in here really trying to stir **** up?
From the way I saw things it was an actual conversation before you came around spouting trash. And thanks for leaving, this forum only gets better with your absence.
Also, "bread the keyboard warriors"? Uhm? Like feed people bread like they do birds? Or were you looking for 'breed' as in making offspring?

"Hi, my name is Richard, and uhhhh.... I'm representing 'I'm The S**T dot com'"
Great intro to the show... way to "represent" our forum. First. you run a 9.11 @ 79 MPH in the 1/8th mile... that is not impressive, and barely better than a bone stock Z. Then you go drive out onto the road course like a total tool, spin out trying to drift, and throw cones across the tarmac... then you lose by over 1.5 seconds in the road course.
What did you expect... everyone to give you a high five on the forum for acting like that? Your performance was weak... don't go parading around here like you did an awesome job.

I was suprised to see how technical the drag set-up was. I had lots of things going through my mind all at once, the clutch, what rpms to rev to, the light that tells you you're lined up properly, and the Christmas tree.
I give it to you guys that drag regularly. It's not as easy as it looks. Funny story: The 1st practice run I did, I did the beginning burnout, then just sat there in the car. This gentleman walks up to the car smiling, then told me about the light that indicates you're lined up and told me to pull foward. We both got a good laugh out of it. Oh man, not my only mess up. Another time I forgot to turn the traction control button off, so when I launched, it sensed wheel spin and cut throttle. I had it off initially, but they asked me to shut the car off when they did those return interviews. This automatically resets it. Then there was that false start I had. I definitely need more seat time.
Answering other questions:
The car is all bolts-ons with an UpRev tune. Plenum spacer, intake, and exhaust.
This was my 1st time on the track. It's something I've been wanting to do for awhile now. The car had been predominantely a show car for some years now. I've heard so many good things about autocross and drag. This was quite an experience and very fun. I met some great people out there, all of us sharing common enthusiasm. I hope to give this a try again sometime in the near future...
Here's a link to the entire car for those that have never seen it. It's an old dog, most have, but here's the link:

This season, the forum made out "better" than season 1 at least...
but seriously.. are there NO motorsports oriented Z's that could represent us in a motorsports oriented competition??? With no disrespect to the guy who represented us... I don't understand why the worst person for the task gets chosen. The Mustang guy obviously knew at least 1 event well... running a 12.5 in even the new Coyote cars is not an easy feat. Yes they're fast but the average Joe that takes his car to the track for the first time WILL NOT run a 12.5.
Good effort on the part of our representantive this year... just wish someone else would step up... or at least have the competition on the east coast...
That way everyone could laugh at my drag launches (or bogs
)

Obviously, it's rigged. That's twice now they stacked the odds against the 350Zs. Just another reason (aside from it being crap) for me to not use Royal Purple.
1st time, they got an inexperienced driver and put a V6 against an experienced driver in a supercharged V8 on race tires.
This time, they get the oldest model Z out of the Z33/Z34 they can. It puts down near stock power, and it's against the best Mustang GT ever made. And the GT isn't stock. The 5.0 is comparable to the current M3, yet they want to compare it to a 2003 350Z? How about bringing out a modded 370Z or at least an HR 350Z? This was a whack comparison. Obviously, they are looking out for the mustang guys' egos here. Typical.
Thanks for proving time and time again that you suck, Royal Purple. Maybe you should focus on making your watery oil better and stop making one sided videos that no one with a brain would believe to be fair. Your forum war videos are comparable to your advertising; Full of ****.
