I also asked about that during the initial call I received after I was nominated from my site: I'm allowed to bring a very limited amount of people with me as they aren't wanting this to be an open event. I know I am bringing winters97gt from stangnet with me as we have been friends for quite some time and obviously have similar interests (racing & having fun doing so) plus another member.
I believe each racer is allowed to bring a friend or two just for support.

He did comment about two of the races. The 1/4 mile run and the track event, and then the thread disappeared, so I guess I won't leak what he posted.
BTW- When we were leaving Baytown Raceway Park Friday night after the legal street runs we saw a few of the Vans for Speed channel pulling in. So wish I could have hid under the stands to view.

yeah that sounds about equal lol, to what they have been doing lately. Of course with all things considered, the first forum wars was a veteran scca pro not amature driver, verses drivers that were amatures. The driver from the mustang in the first forum wars beat all cars that day cars that should have smoked him by power alone, were blown away on the auto course because the drivers didn't know how to drive. This time seemed a more even field in the driver mod spots, meaning ol' boy with the stang may have known how to go a quater of mile but may not have known all the other aspects of driving.

That's no doubt--I had NEVER done anything like autocross before but had a blast trying it. I want to get out on a track like that more often now
