Default Time slip from my first ever GT-R drag

2009 GT-R. EcuTek tune and midpipe.

This was the only run that I got to do. I forgot to switch to my more aggressive tune for the run and ended up running the weaker tune... It could have been a 10.9 which is what I was aiming for...

Launch control I assume? I ran against (and barely beat) a stock 2011 but it had something awful of a 60-ft like 1.9. My 1.6 put a bus length between us off the line.

Yep I used launch control. I can't wait to go back because I know it can do better.

This was at Capitol Raceway. Their rules are super strict and it was so busy I only got one run after 5 hours of waiting. Definitely going to do MIR next.

I've never even looked at VIR, how packed is that one?

Good time for the first run. But holy crap 1 run in 5 hours? That's ridiculously.

I usually get a dozen in at capitol as long as I arrive before 6:00PM. After 8:00 or so it gets way crowded. Check out Cecil on weekends or friday nights if you want some good runs.

Mike VIR isn't a drag strip. It's this... I took my IS-F on it and ran very well ( 2:21.096) I also got to ride in a GT-R around the full course as well. You should come out. It's where the big boys play.

I would love to do that.... I will need to invest in some better brakes and some better tires than michelin PSS first though. Stock brakes are fine for awhile but they start to crack around the holes after only one track use... They're expensive as f**k so I need to get a dedicated set that won't crack

Mike unless your PSS's are really low in tread they will be good enough for track duty. My PSS's worked just fine at VIR. As for your rotors my 14.1" cross drilled rotors cracked as well. I got one more track day in them then I am changing. Your's should be fine unless they are needing replaced.

They're about to need to be replaced. After I can get a new set I definitely want to track it.
