I Don't really notice because I drive with the top down 95% of the time in California. I will pay attention next time with the top up.

I havn't done mine in a while (but it is in the shop manual in case you want to reference it there). I believe if you just poke around a bit you will find some screws that attach the trim. Loosening these screws should alow you to move the trim forward and away from the edge of the window.

Yeah....in the shop manual there is this hilarious picture of some dude spraying a garden hose at the window seal (from xx feet away under xx presure). They actualy determine specific tolerances for when water is allowed to penetrate.
At what speed ?
I've noticed increased wind penetration above 100 mph - it's a result of diverse vortex loading on disimilar surfaces with subsequent distortions and separation.
If it leaks going slow - bad. Street/highway speed - no biggie, adjust the trim. In triple figures - laws of physics prevail.

A fair amount of wind noise seems normal in the ZR at highwar speeds (65-85), particularly with the windows down. It's not a padded triple layer type top. It's a tad easier to chat with the lady next to you with the windows up. I muuuuch prefer the top down, but not tomorrow, though, we are expecting snow in Huntsville, AL. Oh well.....
I Have Heird The Same Noise He's Talking About And It Has Nothing To Do With The Rubber Trim. I Think It Might Be A Noise At The Transmission Or Something...it May Sound Weird But When Your Driving And Hear That Noise Just Put The Car In Neutral For A Sec ,,and The Noise Stoppes ....weird I Wonder What It Is...manual Transmission ???

Now supposedly an engineer from Nissan is going to schedule an appt to look at it, but no one has ever contacted me or the dealer to set up a time. I got a message from "Tammy" at Nissan, 866-799-1690 x1642, and every time I call her back, I get a message stating her mailbox is full.
This seems to me like a serious problem, and on top of this, I have the oil consumption issue. And my service advisor just quit today. Jesus. WTF am I supposed to do???
