I got rid of mine by using finger nail polish remover VERY carefully. I learned a valuable lesson-Wax your car with the roof down.

does finger nail polish ruin the top's material? did you use a cotton ball? Thanks!

If I remember correctly I just put a bit of the remover on a cotton wash cloth. Be sure to wipe immediately with a clean dry cloth. Please note: I has a very small amount of wax to clean up-maybe 1/2". If you have a lot to clean up this may not be the best solution.

I recall a thread about this a while back. People were using everything from toothpaste to lighter fluid.

Have you tried soft top cleaner? Like RaggTopp or 303?

after you get rid of the wax, make sure you use treatment after that. So far I've had good experience with 303.
