Yes you're an idiot for driving so fast on a wet road...that's like 90 mph or close to it. You are the dissappointment, not you're car.

Add on the fact that the OP said the tires were at 50% condition. (Probably 20% in the rear and 60% in the front.) Then the OP should have backed down the speed.

Crap OEM tires, sure but I can not blame this completely on Bridgestone.
I never intended to blame this on the OEM tire manufacturer. The OEM tires provide great grip in dry conditions. Inexperienced drivers may think that this implies great grip in wet conditions. Wrong!.

It is all down to to driver error, but this is understandable given tire characteristics and driver (in)experience. I guess what I am saying is don't be so harsh on this guy, many of us probably did similar stunts when we were his age. I started out in a 240z, if I had a 350z at that age I probably would not have survived my teens.

Hey noob, you sure made me look the fool!!! I haven't the attitude that I own the roads and if I should kill an innocent person or 2, they should be soo lucky as to die by my automotive driving skills in the rain or dry. Sad thing is that Darwin didn't thin out the gene pool of you, not quite yet. I pray you don't take along any innocents with your driving bravado and total disregard of the laws of physics.

Get em standard ... 90 miles an hour with a RWD car, i cant say anything else especially since everything has been pretty much mentioned. But really what were you thinking? even a professional would have a hard time in the rain! at 90 mph! and any kind of turn... unless you have mad skillz, superman, or have some weird drift secret that has the ability to mask the laws of physics, count your blessings you didnt kill anyone, injure yourself, or die...

Hmmm, sure you don't have that backwards?

Last time I checked, assuming it was oversteer, it should be very recoverable...

Or has drifting gone FWD?

Wow! That is scary. Sorry to hear about this. But like everyone else, that was a dangerous move. I was going 55mph on the highway in Southern California in my Z after it was raining. not even accelerating, I hit a pack of water and lost control and spun on highway. Luckily no one was injured (except for my Z).
