I thought I'd give all of us trolls who are waiting for their roadsters to arrive an opportunity to commisurate. My order went in 10/1/03. Silverstone/Burn orange, 18's, NAV. I expect the car this month or next month. Salesman claims he can't track the order. I already have my first road trip planned as I'm buying the car in Phila, 350 miles from home. I don't have any mods planned yet. I'd love to upgrade the brakes, but they are way expensive.

I notice you have ordered the same color combination that I hope to order in a month or two. From what I have seen, it seems that the only burnt orange seats you can get with the Silverstone Roadster is the ventilated version. Is that correct?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'm in the same club, ordered Lemans Sunset w/BO Roadster on 11/11/03, it should be in around mid Feb. Your salesman can track the car, but only starting about 30 days out from delivery.
I've been trolling here almost daily since October, lots of good info and people. I've already ordered and received my Zaino kit, ragtop stuff, Valentine 1 and mounting bracket and Insane grounding kit. I can't wait much longer, I'll be broke before the car comes in....lol.

I ordered my Silverstone w/blk leather interior and nav back in April. I was hoping to have it back in the fall to use it while the weather in Boston was still good. I was told by Nissan, (yes, you can call 800-Nissan1 and they will tell you) that my car would be delivered in Feb---just in time for a blinding snow storm here in the northeast.
I am going through the same things that you folks are with anticipation. I suppose once the car finally gets here, I can get a good nights sleep!!
Best of luck to everyone in the waiting game for your new arrivals.

LS with BO interior and everything except the 18s. Ordered 12/5/03. Delivery should be sometime in March.
Your dealer may not be able to track the order but Nissan Customer Care can give you a resonable estimate of when it should arrive. It took the rep there about 48 hours to track it down, but she called me back promptly. 1 800 Nissan1.

The BO seats in the roadster are all the ventilated ones.
Thanks for the Nissan customer service idea. Waiting to hear from them about when my car will be coming in.

I ordered a Daytona Blue Touring with the 18" wheels and a 6-speed on November 4. The dealer quoted approximately 3 months delivery time. I was at the dealer today and they gave me my VIN and showed me the computer stating an ETA of the week of Feb. 6, so they were very accurate on their estimate. They said it could possibly take a week longer, so that puts me in the range of Feb. 6 - 20. We will still have 1 - 1 1/2 months of winter left then, but I'm getting pretty pumped now about it coming in. Guess it's time to start trying to move my '96 Twin Turbo. If anyone is looking for a Roadster in the DC area, I'd highly recommend Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring MD. I've bought 3 of my 5 Z's there, and had them all serviced there. They gave me $600 off MSRP last November when 2 of the other 4 dealers I visited were jacking up the MSRP, and the other one was dropping $300 but was quoting 6 - 9 months delivery. They also had 3 Roadsters on the lot today, including a Blue one like mine, but with an automatic.

PPW 5AT with delivery date of 2-4-04. 18" wheels, all the little options except NAV.
In late November, I had my local dealer out here in rural Arkansas try to work a Dealer trade. Didn't work out but he was able to change a car he had on order to get one built per my specs. It was built 2 weeks ago and is currently on a boat and still has a long train ride and a transport ride awaiting. About ready now to start buying the usual 'supplies' the rest of you are purchasing. Because this is my first brand new car in 16 years, I'm thinking of telling the dealer not to even wash it (fearing they'll f$*& up the paint, damn rednecks): just pull the plastic film off, make sure it has oil in it and hand it over!
Oh yeah, my current car is a Black 1995 300ZX TT 5sp (It's For Sale - $14k). The one before that was a Red 1990 300ZX NA Auto. Third times a charm, right?
01-24-2004 Update ---- Car is off the boat in CA and ready for a train ride to Houston. New expected delivery date 2-14

Heard back from Nissan. My car is due in Friday the 13th. Won't be able to get up to Phila until Monday the 16th. Can't hardly wait. Time to get something for the front license plate.

I have the same combination. You're right, in the Roadster version the burnt orange seats contain black mesh in the centre for ventilation. They look great.

Well, Mossy scored a LS touring with BO interior complete with the nav that I wanted, so I jumped on it. I wasn't going to go for the 18 inch wheels, but since this one arrived before mine, what the hell. With the $1,000 discount off MSRP they're offering it's almost a wash.
I'll post pics from the dealer tomorrow night. Unfortunately, the car isn't coming home tomorrow night because I'm dropping it off at Modern Image to get my clear bra installed.

Congrats Smooth Dome. I'm envious. I've still got 3 weeks to go. Post some pics, it's a gorgeous combination.

I understand the pain.
I ordered a Liquid Aluminum coupe on 10/01 and was waiting patiently for it to arrive when my dealer calls me around the first of December. He says "We don't know when your car is going to arrive......but......we have this black on black roadster in our showroom that some guy ordered and backed out of the order. Do you want to take a look at it?"
Hell, I left work that minute, picked up my wife and drove over to the dealer. I bought it on the spot, and I'm so gald I did. I love it.
It's worth the wait, even though it spends more time in the garage than on the road. Can't wait until Spring arrives here in the Rust Belt.
