Default Weather...

Why is it that once I get my Z and I live in West Texas, we are getting snow, and rain and all the above. I am taking a trip to new orleans in a week and can't wait to just top down it all the way, don't care if it's cold!

Just bought my '06 350ZR GT Friday and drove it all weekend with the top down. Dipped down into the 40s but had a great time!!

When I bought my ZR, I took my 5 hour drive back home in 43 degree weather and loved every freezing second of it.

^^^You guys are so crazy driving with the top down now.... lol
I opened my top last weekend just to take pictures. I was lucky because the temp got up to 50 degrees that day. Becareful with opening and closing your top. I heard of people having problems when the temp gets below 40. Something about the beams or motor. I am not sure, I would have to search the tread.

Lol, I thought I was the only crazy one. The reason we got convertible is to drive top down whenever weather permitted. I always thought you guys out west and south have warmer weather then us in NY.

I will tell you how spoiled we are in Las Vegas. Whenever it get below 70, everyone complains about how cold it is. I guess by now I am one of them too. I just want everyone to know I did my fair share of cold weather living in Chicago and Ohio. I dont think I could ever move back to cold weather. All that snow damaged all my cars in the past.

Yeah it's in the manual also, I try not to operate it when it's icy out or touching 40. I just go with 48+ and I'm topless .

I can't complain, being from New Orleans originally I'd much rather some cold than constant raining. Least I can freeze instead of drown.
