Default Anyone else see similarities?

I can't get over how similar this new Jaguar F-Type is to the 2004-2008 350ZR. I've mentioned it in the comment sections of a YouTube review of the new Jag and got blasted that they look nothing alike?

Am I seeing things?

Have you actually seen an F-type? Granted, there's some similarities in a photo, depending on the angle it was shot at. But looking at an actual F-type, it's as different as night and day from a 350ZR.

I must have the same visual disability, I too thought there was some similarity. When I showed the pictures of the new jag in MT to my wife she thought I was showing her an updated ZR.

looks like an astin martin, maybe a z4/z8, and a lot of convertable sports cars. this is the best looking convertable sports car tho, and it also looks a little like a Z. sarcasm: on.

??Without front mods like a lip and other stuff, don't see the similarities.
There are front bumpers for the Z that come close to the F-Type look.
Ironically,my Z with the mods I've done,looks more like the Jag.The F-Type
being a Brit car,has some Aston touches. The hood&fender vents etc.
I've done those too on my Z.The Varis canards I recently installed adds to the
"swoop" at the ends on the bumpers like the F-Type.
