So in the begnning there was a problem with the hatch of the Right part of the hook. The middle part and left part was able to lock completely but the right side would leave a space. This happen because I used force to lock the hood when it wasnt completely closed. But with the right side leaving a space I was dumb enough to drive 100mph in a highway and pumped up the hood itself. The picture shows one part of the rod is bent. I even went to the dealers and they told me I need to change the whole hood including the motors even though the diagnostic test result showed that only rod has been bent. They charged me 10500 for it.
I was wondering does anyone had a same problem and knows how to fix it???? Please help me..
I live in Columbus Ohio and anyone would like to help me I would be please for your contact.
the middle part is bent

I suspect the dealer is right and you are going to have to replace the entire framework and possibly the top as well. You might try check for a top in a junk yard.
First, you need to change your wording of "hood" to describe your problem. A hood covers the VQ engine up front, your problem has to do with the 'vert top. As for your top, bending one part as badly as you did driving 100 mph bent one part and damaged several others. That 'vert top is a fragile part.
Too bad you don't live closer to Colorado- I'd sell you the complete top with motors for a fraction of what the dealer is asking...
1. Laugh in the service advisers face...hard
2. Tell him to GFY
3. Laugh more and flip the bird on the way out
4. Buy used z vert. (can be had for under 10,500)
5. Swap tops
6. Sell used Z to carmax (you will lose a couple thousand on this but not 10.5k)
7. Go back to nissan dealership and laugh in that fools face
Do you still have this convertible top that I can buy? I'm in CA but I'll pay for shipping if it's an issue.
