Not sure where you're getting your information on major maintenance, but 60K and 100K are what Nissan recommends as major service intervals.
And yes, spark plug changes (among other items) are mandated at 100K. I'd recommend sticking with NGK and trying their new ruthenium plug designed for the VQ. I posted a separate thread with all the details on this earlier, so search.

My apologies, was this meant to be a serious question? Crap, let me start over.
Hello, OP. Yes, 100k miles is a significant milestone at which Nissan suggests regularly scheduled maintenance. Please find a link below which outlines the suggested items for maintenance. Additionally, there is a link to the Factory Service Manual that is available for download for future maintenance intervals. Happy wrenching!

100k might be the recommended interval but it depends on when the last one was done and whether many of the services at 100k were performed at, say, 80k miles or somesuch.
Example: just took my wife's car into have a CEL diagnosed and fixed. (I pulled the code and figured out the problem but for my wife's state of mind (no confidence in hubby mechanic, laff...), took it back to regular service dept.) But being at 115k, figured we'd do the recommended 120k service. Service advisor showed me the itemization and several items were done when it was in at 90k and at that time, they did coolant (due to water pump R&R), they did brake fluid flush (I opted for it) , etc. Essentially, saved money in knowing what's been done and when.
So check what's been done recently then make your decision based on the vehicle's service records. If you bought it used and with no service records to speak of, good time to baseline the car to a known state of tune and go from there at regular intervals.

You are correct. Some will take that as being serious, no matter how unrealistic it was.
My apologies, OP. Hopefully you have found your answer with my previous post and the information contributed by my fellow forum members.

Alternatively, copper plugs are usually replaced every 30K, while NGK indicates the ruthenium plugs will last 120K. With Rockauto offering the ruthenium-coated plugs at $7.88/plug, I don't see price being an issue. My NGK Irridiums have lasted 90K in my street Z (VQ35DE) and less than that in my race Z (HR) without any dropoff, so I choose to believe NGK. Sorry to take this thread OT.
I think I buy my ngk iridiums for $7 each online. I try to buy them in 12 packs or 18 packs to save shipping. nothing wrong with copper though.
I wish expensive spark plugs were my biggest issue!
