Default is this a problem w/ roof?

I never noticed till yesterday in my long 5 day tenure of ownershiop, that a piece located under the window when top is closed does not fully come to rest on top of cowling behind seats. It's a piece of black plastic in my case that has a small gap between it and the cowling and just wondered if this was normal.
Thx

Any chance of posting a picture of this? Either way, I'll take a look at mine this evening.

Agreed. Like ragz, if I'm seeing what you're seeing, it's normal.

There's a thin piece of plastic where the roof meets the cowling. It will let light in, but the roof is indeed sealed.

I believe it mentions this in the manual.

Thanks, it kinda bothered me at first but the fit is tight on the top to the cowling so everything will be ok.

Remember this Chief, Only in this country can you talk about the leaders of the country with the disrespect that you do. Keep politics of the site. It's you're opinion.

harester, ... eh? "Only in this country can you talk ..." then "Keep politics of[f] the site. It's your opinion".

Well, since the first and foremost rule/concept of our country is freedom of speech don't you think he's allowed to express his opinion?

[note: yeah, I know, there is an offtopic forum for things like this, but listening to harester tell Chief he can't have political comments in his sig urked me. Is there any such rule here?]

harester...You are probably right, but so is Chief. Bush is, in fact, exactly what Chief says he is.

And when it comes to respect, I always felt that a person earns it. Bush certainly hasn't earned it. If anything, he has "earned" the discription that Chief has given him.

OK, if you are going to discuss politics, move it to OT or we'll have to lock this thread.
