Hello Korean 350z owners! My GF is in Korea for two weeks and wants to know what I want while she is over there. Are there any 350z parts that are I can ask her to snag while she is over there? Any Asian clothing brands that are incorporated with drifting maybe? Any other gift suggestions that are only available in Korea?

How has it been over there (more of an Army-wise question) with all the NK **** that's going on?

I finally sorted out everything today...

I'll be competing in the DDGT time attack and drift competition on July 5th. Unfortunately, it's going to be held in Tae-Bak, which is 4 hours away from Seoul. Our team is going to hire a vehicle carrier trucking company to take our cars to Tae-Bak and back. Also, we are leaving on uly 3rd and stay at a motel for two nights... It sucks that Young-In speedway closed down for expansion this season... If you guys can make it out to Tae-Bak, that would be awesome!

 

I dont think I could make it back to Uijungbu before midnight on Sunday if I went out there.

Sucks man, I'm feigning to see some tires smoking and cars going sideways in korea.

 

Actually, i have 4 days off that weekend. 3-6 Jul and i might actually be able to make it out there. How much do you think everything would be (minus food and such)? would i have to take the KTX or something? i'm all up for adventure... heh, and it'd be great if i can bring my computer+internet so i can get started on filming you guys at the track! wonder if they have special permissions so i can go film? kinda like the "Don't Stop" video:

damn i forgot its a 4 day that weekend.

Andrew if you want we could meet in yongsan and go out there and check it out together. most hotels outside of seoul are pretty cheap form my experience so i don't see it costing more then 60-80k per night. We need to find out how much for spectator passes though. I'm guessing this is the event we're talking about right? http://www.ddgt.co.kr/xe/ddgtGuide

 

i think that is it... sounds like a plan. originally, i was suppose to goto Saipan... but people fell through so this might be ideal for me. I really want to get up and personal with the track/cars. i just wonder if it was possible? i've been getting back into my camera lately so i've been itching for a really good video.

but yeah, if we can only decipher the webpage... and maybe if JAY or someone in his pit crew can ask for some media access. Plus, we gotta see how the schedule is like... i'm game for this.
