Default Slim PS2 in the Z

Any ideas ??
Where i install the main body?
how to wire the ps2?
what kind the power inverter will perfectlly work with the ps2?
one more question,only the 03 nav box fit with Farenheit 7"
my car is 05 !

not a ps2 slim but may give you an idea. I used a power invertor from Radio shack. works great.

the only thing with the slim ps2 is you have to remember the cd drive thing opens up, not out like a normal ps2. i saw somewhere someone installed a slim ps2 into one of the small cubbys (like where the dvd drive goes if you get the nav), and they made it so it slides out so you can load the discs in. i wish i remembered where i saw that.

i bought a 700w power inverter at canadian tire,i plan to connect it with the rear cig lighter, and install the ps2 in the rear cabinet.


do you guys know how to "Disassembly" the rear ,glove box,speaker,cabinet,/.......

any suggestions??

oh thats because everything from the seats back is custom made. I didnt want them to cut any of the stock pieces, so they yanked it all out. It makes it a lot easier when i have to go back to stock.

I like the old ps2 better. I put a hard drive inside mine and load games and play them directly off of it.

Can you get pics from your install? Also how are you mounting it in the glove box? I'll be doing the same install as soon as my screen arrives.
