Default Eclpise Avn5495 Pricing

I called my dealer today, which he then called The Eclipse Rep.

Price for the AVN 5495 will be 2699.00

Unit will be shipping out iin April for special orders, then they will be availible after April.

I will probably look for a used AVN 2454 or one on Ebay, since I don't want to spend that kind of cash for my vehicle which I will be trading in two years.

Anyone want to sell theirs?

I just got an official quote for the Eclipse AVN5495.

2100.00 I am going to see if I can get it lower since I have purchased from my local installer. Eclipse apparently reduced it lower than the AVN2454.

When I get to texas, I can get it cheaper. I would be willing to buy it then ship it on to you for nothing above what it costs me to buy it and ship it.

Eclipse just updated their website to include the AVN5435. Hopefully, they'll add the AVN5495 soon!

I'm trying to figure that out as well. I e-mailed Eclipse to see if they would tell me the MSRP of both units and the expected release dates. I never heard a response from Eclipse. The AVN5435 is a lower model than the AVN5495, so it'll probably be a few hundred dollars less than $2100.

I have a AVN2454 and I looked at the 5435 on the website, I don't see anything difference besides the top and bottom is silver and the button positions have changed a bit.

Well if you look at carefully, new model has a volume button in driver side and track skip button is on pass. side.
it used to be the other way around. 5435 has only one slot for dvd/mp3/cd
but it has 30gb harddrive built in. 10 gb is used by nav system and the other 20 is for music. they said its alot faster navigating than dvd based nav units. also it has memorystick slot but i don't know what that for.

it also seems a bit better interface design in the system.
hope this helps...

can't wait to see the actual product...
