Default system help please

Hey I think I know what I want to do as far as subs now. I want to run 2 Audiobahn ALUM8P 8" woofers, one behind each seat. I want to stick one in the glove box and one in the factory sub housing (I do not have the factory sub, didn't get the Bose). Is this possible? How would I go about doing it and how much would it cost? Just walk me through the basics please. Thanks.

Here is a link to a site that sells the metal brackets to mount 10" subs. You could make some sort of plate/box so the 8" subs would mount up in the ten inch hole. They also sell the bose covers($10.17). From what I understand you can remove the glove box and these parts will fit on the passenger side also.

Just by looking at it, the glove box plastic housing does not have the same holes for the tabs on the bose speaker. Also, I can't even see how the glove box door pops off.

DIY PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are better subs out there for less $.

And the box is EASY to remove. Just pop the back panel off and the door comes with it. Unscrew the glove box and replace it with the bose cover.

I don't see how the bracket that goes on the right side for the factory woofer would fit on the left side, they don't look to be the same. Is there anyone who has actually done it that can verify this before I go and buy 2 brackets? Thanks.

there are many who have done this. I just had my car ripped apart for my stereo install and from what I could see, the two openings are identical. just take the bose cover off the driver's side and see if it lines up.
