It seems like they r keep delaying the release date. might be due to some technical issue with the unit...

 

Don't know either, Audio Connection estimated that it would be released this month.

Eclipse still hasn't updated their site for the AVN5495 for about 3 weeks.

 

Don't go by Eclipse's website. It took them one month to update their site with info about the AVCN5435.

 

Rspec, don't know where you live in MD, but goto The Audio Connection on Joppa rd in Towson area, ask for Denny--tell him Randy sent you. they have stores in glenburnie and in reisterstown. Great installers.

Bad news guys, mine is one of the ones coming on the first batch. I've been on the phone constantly with Eclipse. The 5495 has been pushed back to at the earliest 2nd week of June, but I wouldn't hold your breath (like I'm already doing).

 

I think maybe they are trying to add Sirius to it. When I called Eclipse last week, they said the AVN5495 will be Sirius ready later around the fall. But who knows, Audio Connection told me that Eclipse may be trying to fill orders first to see the demand before they produce more. I was told Eclipse produces X# of units then if the deamnd is there, they produce more.
