Default FINALLY COMPLETE - Roadster Stereo System!

Ok so after two LONG weeks, my system is finally done. It's pretty basic, nothing too fancy. Let me know what you think

and a pic of the car the system is in

Head Unit : DEH-P80MP
Amp: Directed 4500
Front: BA SL60 ( Woofer was replaced with Dynaudio cause installer poked a hole in the SL60s )
Sub: 10" Kappas Perfect
Installer Aaron @ Innovative Rides

It sounds decent but I think it needs to be tuned more. Also the sub area rattles like crazy! Any roadster with this problem? How can you fix it?

Thanks!

i mean theres no def setup thats gonna work. in my case my rears were pretty loud so i have mine faded up about halfway...crossover on the HU is off (just using the speaker crossovers). the biggest dfference i noticed is when you mess around with the EQ bands. you can adjust between low mid and high levels. after i got those set i messed around with the bass and treble and got it sounding amazing.

goodluck

Sorry I don't have the dimension, it was custom made by my installer.

I had a similar setup in the coupe. There was absolutely no rattle. Even the professional installer was amazed. Nice setup.

Um .. the XOs that came with you SL60s were made for the mids that came with it ... a new set of mids would likely sound like **** in there ... I'd get them to replace them with the real thing at no charge.

Thanks for your post. They said they replaced the mid with dynaudio and said that it was much better than the sl60. I havent checked the mids yet but i'm not sure and I always wonder if my system would sound better if it had matching components.

It may very well be a much better loudspeaker, however, it could be totally unsuited to work in your application.

I do not know...I would have to see the FR graphs and XO slopes to know if they were compatible.

If they ruined your mids, and were unable to replace them, they should have done it all with the Dynaudio components .. all matching.
