Default Alarms with paging systems?

What companies make alarms that "page" you? Like where the remote beeps and whatnot when the alarm is going off. I know Viper does, but are there any others?

Compustar I think has been said to be the best, at least by what most say.

There are others, but the two main ones are Viper and Compustar!

Cool, thanks for the info guys. I had a Viper one on my previous vehicle and I was not impressed with it's range. It seems the Compustar has a much better range due to the frequency is broadcasts the "page" on. Im gonna look into getting one of these bad boys on my Z. I would love to install those flame throwers you see in that video from Africa; sadly it's illegal in the states. Damn! LOL!

A fully loaded unit will cost you about 500-600 installed. Compustars are one of the higher end units out there & probably the most expensive.

Well worth any cost if they work like they say they do. Gotta protect my baby the best I can. Yes, I know I know....if a theif really wants it they will get it, however I want to detour them with every means available. Full on crazy a$$ alarm with pager, the Club, hell, if I could put an angry wolverine in there without risking damage to the seats I would.

thats still not bad for those systems though, i mean my friend bought an alarm for like $150 installed, and it goes off at the most random times, or if we are trying to make it go off, it won't. so 5-600 for one installed doesnt sound bad, especially if its got all those options on it.

if i'm not mistaken, i may have read it wrong, but does the system thats a remote start and alarm have a remote engine shut off? like say your car does get stolen, they disconnect the alarm, but the remote start is still on, can you shut it off from wherever you are? or did i just completely make all that up

the viper/python/clifford alarms have remote shut off. just repeat what you pressed.

not sure what you are asking, but if you remote start the car, unless the key is in the ignition and is to the on position the first time you step on the brake the engine will shut off. if someone breaks into your car, if the alarm is armed the engine will not start because of the engine kill. if at that point they can still steal your car, they must be an alarm installer themself.

Here is my beautiful and expensive head unit. I hide my wheel locks here in the glove compartment. My amp is here which I paid very much for.
