Default $2,000 for a sound system---help!

I will have about $2,000 to spend which needs to include install and any parts. I have seen some of the enclosures that are available specifically for the Z. What is the maximum mounting depth for the door speakers? It lloks like pods are pretty popular due to the direction the stock locations are pointed.

I am kind of set on a JL 10w6v2. I am goinf for sounds quality. What would be good speaker choices for the doors and rears? What baout H/U options? I guess satelite radio would be a nice option if I wanted to do that, but it's not mandatory. I am thinking of going with the JL amps as well.

Any thoughts, recomendations, or advice?

my advice..... Screw the mount depth concerns and pick up some speaker pods from Wicked CAS.

thats the thread to get them from.

Componets:
CDT audio Eurosport series componets.

Headunit:
Pioneer premier
Alpine

Amps:
Phoenix Gold Tantrum or Titanium series.
Alpine
Cadence audio

subs:
JL audio w6 or w7
Cadence
Or screw it all and pick up a new Cerwin Vega Stroker Pro.

Whichever sub you get, take the speaker, and the car to a professional shop and have the enclosure talor made to that sub's specification. The sub is only as good as the enclosure.

You have plenty of funds to put together a nice system.

Well,

Here is my recommendation.
If you can Build your own box for now, Just temporarily. Materials will cost you $30 If not less.

As for the Equipment I am a big fan of JL audio.

Pick your deck Kenwood Excelon or Alpine Around $250-300 With 3 Pre outs.
JL 500/5 Most expensive piece in the system. PM me for pricing.
XR 650Csi For Fronts
TR 650CXi For rears
Our Pods Vinyled.
10w6v2

Labor Do it yourself it is not hard at all. You may even be able to have some money for one of our Fiberglass enclosures.
