finally is done...
so i decided to get a sound upgrade in my 2003 z.
first of all i want to thank all the members who answered my questions about "spacers" "gains" and such on
I decided to go with the stock radio (non bose) and up grade my speakers.. try to make it look all stock, expect the sub..
Front - Component Alpine Type R 6.5" Speakers
Rear - Coaxial Alpine Type R 6.5"
Z enclousure box
ALpine Type R 10" Sub (handles 1500W peak, 500W continuous power; KEVLAR-reinforced cone )
Rocfordfosgate Dual amp kit 4 gauge
Mids and high Amp - Alpine MRV-F345 .
Subwoofer Amp - Alpine MRP-M350
Additional : had to get Spacers on my front door, Dynamate the two front doors.
Installation was done at Circuit City by a guy name Chris, 10 years experience..did a really nice job. I refer him to any one in georgia
he said he will cut a deal for us...
but i took some pictures with my phone..its not that great..but thats all i had..
More pictures will be posted, of the subwoofer, and how they set up my 2 amps
mids and high amp is in my glove compartment
and subwoofer amp is behind the driver seat , where the stock bose sub goes. have to screw the pannel out to get to it..but not hard.
I LOVE ALPINE!!!

horrible reviews my ***. ive heard way more good things than bad. Many say they are the best quality/price/bump of any sub made.
i just installed a pair of them on saturday, and they sound amazing!

Remember that it's your car (or the banks ) and it's your music. Never buy with your eyes - it's your ears you have to please ... and never buy with someone else's ears or eyes unless they're paying!
You have to please yourself (and your passenger if you're smart and she's worth keeping!)

not to join the bash, but i heard 2 alpine subs today at best buy and did not like them at all, id much rather have my 1 10" IDMAX than any 2 alpine subs, even the X.
I heard good things about those Alpine Type R component speakers in one of my magazines (i think Performance Audio & Sound). Overral your set up is 10x better than your original sound setup so it was worth every penny.
