OK this is going to sound weird, but is there anyone that could go to Lowes and buy some 3/4" MDF and cut it for me (into the dimensions below) and send them to me? I know it's not the ideal way but I don't have a place to cut wood right now.

These are the pieces I need. This makes one box. I need two so double this.

Home Depot (Lowes probably too) will cut the wood for you, into the dimensions you specify. I'd go there when no-one's around, like first thing in the morning, that way you're not taking up to much time from store staff. I had them cut some of my pieces cause I didn't have access to a table saw when I did the install.

+1 on the Home Depot

Are you building eclosures for behind the seats?

will they do that many cuts though? That's 11 pieces per box.

Mine did... Offer the guy some cash for doing it, buy him lunch or something. Just make sure you go when there's no one else there. That way they don't have competing interests or responibilities.

I wouldnt allow them to do all the cuts. When I used to build enclosures I would just have them rip a few pieces a little larger than I needed just so I could handle the wood easier on my tablesaw and make the cuts perfect. Their machines are not perfectly accurate and chances are when you get home your box will not fit together nice and tight.

edit: And after looking at your picture you are going to have 4 joints on each box that are not going to be 90 degree cuts. I certainly would not trust Home Depot or Lowes to attempt that.

yeah... maybe I'll just have them cut a couple boards into quarters so I can bring 'em home and figure something out

I don't know. I'm not patenting it. I build it specifically for my car and for the volume parameters for a JL 8 W7.
