GPS Security Tracking
I've run across a few posts about people who have installed GPS tracking systems into their cars in case the car gets stolen. Sounds like a good idea.Anybody got any info about how, what, where, how much, etc ?

Westend Nissan (Edmonton) is the Canadian distributor. GPS and cellular based. Not exactly sure on cost but there is a version 2 coming out in July that has remote starter.

I have the LoJack Early Warning Recovery System on my 350z. If the car is moved without the key pass then LoJack will call your phone and e-mail you. If the car is stollen you call the Police and they can find it within 30 mins or less. It costed me $1080.00 total.

I just ordered the Viper GPS system that hooks into their alarm. You can track/arm/disarm/start your car via the internet/phone and it will call you when your car exceeds a preset speed and tell you how fast and where the car is. (Both my kids drive 350Z's and this is a great feature).

There is no other charges after you pay for the install.
It is a very nice system. My buddy, who works in law enforcement told me about it. Check it out http://www.lojack.com/products-servi...stem/index.cfm Also you may be able to get a 15% discount on your car insurance.
