I know this has been probably asked but I can't seem to find it.

I want to buy a simple MP3 player and hook it up with the stock speakers and amp in my roadster. Is this possible?

Really? How so? Does the stock amp controll all speakers, or just the subwoofer?

It's simple, clean and does exactly what I want it too. The USB direct connection is a great feature.

 

I'm considering doing this as well - at least for the short term.

You want a Peripheral SVEN4 and the appropriate adapter harness (SVHNI2 I think). That will allow you to properly couple your aftermarket head to the factory amp/speakers.
