Default Help: running wire from the battery

hi all im using the JL 2gauge to 2 4 guage wiring kit (2 amps)
it came with 20 feet of 2gauge and a main fuse on one end the other end was a ring terminal for connecting to the positive battery do i just cut the 2g wire connect it to the main fuse and the run more 2g wire from the other end of the fuse to a distributer

it came with 10 feet of red 4g wire and 10 feet of 4g black wire it said that the black one had a bolt on master ground lug for secure ground connection and the other end had a 5/16 ring terminal if that is the case my black wire is for grounding then what wire am i going to use for my other amp?!?! =(

Cut the 4g black wire in half. This will give you 2 peices of 5ft grounding cable. Buy another ring terminal(aka=eyelet) and crimp it to the end of the new piece of wire. Now you have 2 grounding cables, one for each amp. A 5ft grounding cable is plenty long enough. If you need to run you grounding cable longer than 5ft, then you need to reconsider where you're grounding it at.
