Default New system goin in, need input!

I am upgrading the stock non-bose system in my car out of necessity cuz it sucks. I want to list the stuff i already have, and plan to get, then see if there is anything i missed or that will make the system better. Any input is appreciated.
have:
-Clarion Max675VD w/wire harness
-Boston Acoustic Pro 6 1/2in. components
-Infinity Kappa prefect 10in. sub
-Clarion Ipod Cable
-Alpine MRD-M605 amp for sub
-Z enclosure under strutbar
-Metra 06' Double din dash kit
-Zenclosures 1" speaker spacer

need:
-Alpine MRV-F545 amp for components
-Optima yellowtop

undecided:
-Clarion 975 nav?
-Cap?

the total watts for this system are going to be around 900 rms, between both amps and spkrs and sub. Is that enough to warrant a yellowtop and cap, or one or the other. Any advice is appreciated

Budget yourself about $100 for the power hardware:

Battery Tap
Battery Fuse
Heavy Guage Cable (+) & (-)
Second Fuse Box/ +12 VDC Distribution Point
Ground Distribution Point

Acoustic poly-wool for inside your speaker box.

Speaker grill

1" front door spacer

Having one 4 channel amp would make your life easier....trust me! Just an idea, and it's cheaper.

I would go with the under strut box.

Thanks for ur input. im positive the shop thats gonna set this up for me will include all wire, fuses. As for the acoustic poly-whool, i think that along with the skeaker grill and 1" spacer would be on me. The purpose of the whool is for cleaner sound from the sub? And where would i get the grill and 1" spacer?

I thought about that, but i would then be running the components and the sub off of a 4 channel amp. is that possible, i was told i couldnt do that, but logically it would make sense that the sub would tak 2 channels and leave 2 free for the components.

Mike (Zenclosures) sells the front speaker_spacers

I just installed a set of speakers using his spacers - worked perfect.

using a 4-channel amp is a great idea. Plus, it leaves you an option for system expansion...say if you want to venture into bi-amping or going active with your components.

Yeah, the shop will take care of all the wires and fuses you will need at ridiculous prices. You'll probably be paying about $250 for all of the stuff from them.

Order everything you need online and take it some where if you need it installed. I recomend putting the sub in the box and position it before you take it in or they will probably charge you about $50 for sub box install. The head unit isn't too hard and they probably will charge around $100 for that.

Save some money and do the install yourself or at least some of it.
