If so let me see it and tell me how you did it. Ive seen a bunch and they are never as clean as 03-05s.

ive only seen one install of a lcd in the cubby of a 07. They had oem navi so they either used that screen or replaced it with a diff screen. Looked clean, he was using it with a carpc. look over at the mp3car.com forums if you want to see it

I prefer navigation in the upper/forward cubby for its better viewing angle. It's just much better there while driving and looking at the navigation screen.

This is gonna be hard to explain without pictures but...

The Nav cubby is simply a different "cage" and a Lip up top and is missing the drawer. The same result can be achieved without the nav cubby assuming you're removing the door. This is because the angle of the screen would turn out kinda weird unless you did more fabricating.

You may want to try removing the "cage" that holds the cubby and then mounting your screen. If I remember correctly this would allow you to keep the flippy thingy.

Ive got to bring this thread back to life because I am dying to have a screen in the cubby, but it seems there isnt any "great" way at the moment. I have an '07, and I really would like a screen in there. Has anyone found any better solutions yet? or?

+1 the 07 cubby is pretty ghey but if you goto a well known audio shop... i'm sure they can fabricate and mold a screen in there.

I found this item on trademotion.com, it's the center panel and finisher for the 06-07 models, does anyone knows if this should work for a 06 non-nav???

I've also got a 2007 Touring, Bose w\o Navi, and am interested in putting a PC in the car to hold/play all the music I have for road trips and such (messing with mp3 dvds is a pain).. But I haven't found much information relating to changing out the non-navi center dash with a navi dash piece for my year of car. Quite a few for 03-05 cars though...

Anybody see a good guide for doing this for an 07 yet? Though I think I would really like having the door still on the dash to hide the LCD (no reason to ask for someone to break in...)

I have a 06 Touring (Bose / non-nav obviously) and would love more info on adding a pc to the "nav" space as well. After all whoever thought 6 CD's would be enough?

+1 my cubby looks very empty and lonely. I just want to add some functionality to fill that empty space.
