well i figured this out awhile ago but i thought i would post my solution incase someone else has a use for it. any, after reading and going through the service manual i decided what i wanted to do. my navi door was open but when i plugged in a certain harness (mentioned in above post) it would think that it was closed. so i cut the red/white wire that is on that harness and now my navi shows up and my navi door can no longer go down or get jammed up

dam I'm having the exact same problem I tested the nav door motor with a 9volt and it opens And closes. When I plug that CLip to the right just like yours my nav shuts off if I take the plug out the nav works just fine. Wonder if this is covered under warranty.

Any updates

Turns out that piece the right clip plugs into is called the Lid Cluster Amp. That is what is bad. It is what sends the signal that to open and close the nav door. Part is about 150. Dam it!
