Any chance it will fit the Maxima too Kevin? if not, how do we find out what needs to be changed?

The module is designed to be universal - it should work with any vehicle.

update!

Here is a quick vid (~11meg AVI):
http://www.kptechnologies.com/images...pbstartg35.avi

I have a few more things to tweak in the firmware and its ready!

It integrated in to the G35 with minimal issues and took me about 3 hours total - that includes all the wiring, making a slight hardware and firmware modification, and mounting the button. I removed the lighter and had to dremel the opening a bit to make the pushbutton fit.

No, I don't know of anyone out there or plan to be out there. If you can get a group of people together maybe I can fly out and do a few

I live down here in Cincinnati, how much would change for parts and labor. Do you have a shop?

No, we don't have a shop, but I do have a garage. We haven't set an install price yet, we are concentrating on getting the product released. I ordered 10 more push buttons today, and I have my local dealership researching mass quantity availibility. There might not be enough buttons availible to make this a mass produced module.

I don't have any updates right now. We are still working towards the test units. Besides making sure the product works as intended there is a ton of 'behind' the scenes things that need to be done, including the designing and fabrication of the fixtures required for production. So far I've had to build an oven to bake the pushbuttons so that they set up correctly. It is pretty much done, but I still need to design and build the jig to cut the enclosures correctly. I wish it was as easy as just pushing them out the door, but it all takes time and patience.

Thats understandable. Had my fingers crossed hoping something would be ready for me to test sometime soon since I have a Z meet at the beginning of next month. Its cool though im sure its been a lot of work but in the end it will all pay off Thanks!

Looking forward to the project being done Kevin. Im in So Cal and Ill install this myself. Im not foreign to electronics at all - Ham radio operator for many years and worked on cars for almost as long. Last project involved swapping JDM Fairlady Z steering wheel on to my 05 Maxima.

Im sure I can get a 6th Gen Maxima contingency. Keep us posted on maxima.org
