I'm taking my oem bose head unit out and replacing with aftermarket double din lcd video/audio head unit.

I see from the pictures everybody put some source of bracket around the aftermarket unit to make it and look nicely fit.

I searched for a while but all I found was single din conversion kit, two single din stacking kit. Such as Metra, etc.

What kit do I need to replace it with one double din unit? Is there something out for fit every aftermarket double din unit? or many for different applications?

Help!

You gotta buy the dual din dash kit and cut out the center divider and smooth it out with some sandpaper.

 

Can I buy the Metra Kit? I think it comes with a pocket use or a divider to use it with two single din unit stacked on top of the another. or am I wrong?

You meant to cut this divider right?

 

don't get the one with a pocket, get the dual din bracket, and yeah cut the divider out.

 

Which brand one is the best one or the most popular one that most preferred?

 

METRA FTW!!! My Metra dash kit came with both,,,,the din with pocket and with a double din trim as well. It kinda sucks you have to buy the whole dash kit just to get the double din trim ring..But,,it works great with my Alpine W-200.
