Radio front speakers. Whats the deal?
I bought the car used. When i got it the front speakers would intemittently work. I took it to the dealer and they replace my navigation system. That didn't work. I took it back again and they said it was the radio. They replaced it. That didn't work. What can it be? It comes on and off at will. Its not like I hit a hard bump and comes on or off it just does it. Any ideas?

Yes its the factory bose with cd/cassette. I wouldnt mind but its a pain to have to waste so much time at the dealership. In addition you cant be cool with only your rear speakers working and the navigation voice doesnt work at all

Its all the front speakers. The only ones that work are the rear circular ones and the sub. Then just pop on. They dont work on start up. I have never had them go off while driving only when I turn the car off and then get back in. They will sometimes be working and sometimes not. On the times they dont work on start up if I drive long enough they will just come back on

I’ve been thinking more about the OP’s problem. I had the identical problem, but mine involved an aftermarket installation using a Garmin GVN52 (that has a mute wire) and a Clarion DXZ745MP H/U that did not support this (the Clarion model I have does not support a mute wire). My solution was installing a peripheral device that controls input from multiple players. The problem I had was putting in resistors with the correct ohm’s of resistance.
The Nissan Bose CES with Navigation must have a device to route two separate sources (the Navigation’s voice guidance and sound from the H/U) to the front speakers in the Z’s sound system. The device probably connects between the H/U and the Bose external amp. I think this is where things are going wrong.
Your idea (swapping out the amp) is probably the fix.
