Yes it can be done. I have Xbox 360 in mines. And it really comes in hand during car show. When your bored and have nothing to do. Plus it draws a really big crowd when your rocking some guitar hero. here some pics.
Xbox is in glove box. and is power with a 500 watt converter. which is tap in to the rear lighter plug.

just don't have your passenger play it while your driving.... that will **** your discs up sooooo bad!!!! at $60 bucks a pop, its not fun to buy the same game over and over.
